Autographed - Woodinville, WA - Chateau Ste Michelle Winery Show Poster
Original art design by Nick Farrow (Farrow Studios). 300 gsm weight, 100% cotton rag, archival, acid-free paper. Approx 18 x 24 inches. All prints are hand-signed by the artist and the band.
Artwork inspiration/Notes:
- Woodinville was the place where the first Seattle 'Pop' Music Festival took place in 1969 with an absolutely insanely great line up that included not only The Doors, but also Led Zeppelin who were the highlight of the festival, therefore, when choosing a lettering style and as a tribute, I have used similar lettering to the Zeppelin logo for The Mavericks and continued with the Art Deco style for the show details.
- To the right is Washington State bird, the American Goldfinch clutching the border of the design.
- As the area is known for leisure activities, I have included a hot air balloon below THE MAVERICKS which also features on the local flag.
- In the center is a drawing of the Winery with fir trees surrounding it and Mount Ranier behind.
- The grapes represent the venue/ wine country and in the center is Chief Seattle who is featured on the Seattle flag (Woodinville is a suburb). The circular border around the Chief's profile represents mountains that surround Seattle
- In the outside border, I have included curves that are taken from the city flag which represent waves.
Please note: There might be slight wear from being on-tour or imperfections may occur in some posters.
